Fly fishing and bait lochs right on your doorstep. We also offer day tickets for our two stocked lochs, so you can fish whenever the mood takes you.

Dark Skies & Aurora Borealis
Loch Insch benefits from exceptionally dark skies. From late August through to May, the Northern Lights are a regular sight above the loch — one of the great bonuses of staying here.

It is the kind of place you come to for a weekend and find yourself staying for a week. And from late August through to May, our exceptionally dark skies regularly treat guests to the Aurora Borealis — the Northern Lights dancing above the loch.

Park Information
We want every guest to have a peaceful, enjoyable stay. Here are a few things to be aware of before you arrive.
- Arrivals from 12pm, departures by 11am
- Quiet hours between 9pm and 7am
- Dogs welcome on leads at all times
- Fires are not permitted
- BBQs permitted in raised stands only
- Please dispose of waste at the designated points
- Maximum stay of 14 consecutive nights
